AMPLE SPECIMEN
Specimen was created to show off the details of the Ample font and depict the narative around it by using photography. The book consists of mixture of white opaque and transparent paper, which created everything more dimensional. The cover of the book was screen printed and everything was manually spiral binded together.
Ample is a display typeface inspired by tensions between heavy and lightweight, strong and delicate, geometric and organic. It is derived from sans serif grotesques while embracing more decorative features as high contrast, spike endings, and unconventional texture. It is robust and bold, yet light, and sophisticated.
