BEAUTY AND DEATH
Inspired by Iceland’s beauty and hidden danger, this conductive poster was created. While Iceland can be an alluring destination for tourists, people often don’t take the risks in consideration, which can lead to accidents. With this poster we wanted to create an intimate space for the viewer to listen to thought-provoking sounds of nature and realise how beautiful and dreadful it can be.
The viewer can choose between four touchpoints, indicated by black circles. By placing one’s hand on top of either one of them, the respective sounds, matching the depicted element will start to play, immersing the viewer deeper into the project. With the poster being screen-printed on a safety blanket, you may also wear it, in case of actual danger.
